Globe 24-7 and Trust Africa have launched a Guinea-based joint venture to strengthen mining recruitment and workforce solutions across West Africa, as investment in the region’s mining sector keeps growing.
The new company, Globe Trust 24-7, pairs Globe 24-7’s specialist mining recruitment experience with Trust Africa’s regional networks and local market knowledge. Specifically, it aims to help mining companies find skilled personnel while opening employment opportunities for professionals in Guinea and neighbouring markets. Moreover, the venture will run from a Guinea headquarters, positioning it close to operators on the ground.
What the venture offers
The business will span the full recruitment chain. According to the companies, Globe Trust 24-7 will provide labour hire, technical recruitment, executive search and broader workforce support. Furthermore, the partners designed it to give mining operators a dedicated partner for local employment needs, workforce expectations and compliance considerations.
Each side brings something distinct. Globe 24-7 contributes nearly two decades of specialist mining recruitment across multiple jurisdictions, while Trust Africa adds established relationships and an on-the-ground presence. Consequently, the partners argue the combination suits a market where demand for technical, operational and management skills is climbing.
Riding West Africa’s mining boom
The timing tracks the region’s momentum. Additionally, West Africa continues to draw investment in gold and other minerals, and Guinea in particular hosts significant mining activity and major project pipelines.
According to Globe 24-7 chief executive Alastair Fisher, the region’s role in global mining is expanding. “West Africa continues to play an increasingly important role in the global mining industry and we see significant opportunities to support both mining companies and professionals throughout the region,” he said. Under the structure, Trust Africa will keep its independent work in other industries, while Globe Trust 24-7 focuses on mining. Ultimately, the venture bets that workforce capacity will prove as decisive as capital in the region’s next phase of growth.
